Angus Baker, MD
Dr. Angus Baker is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, as well as Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He received his BS from Davidson College and his MD from MUSC. Dr. Baker also trained at Vanderbilt University in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Lake is board certified in Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine. He received his BS from Hampden-Sydney College and his MD from Tulane University. He completed his residency and internship from Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's.

Kelly Acevedo earned her BS in Psychology from Millsapps College and her masters degree from Emory University in Nursing. In her role, she assists the physicians and medical team with assessments, rounding on patients and supporting families during emotional times.

Mariko Geffert earned her BA from Clemson University in Psychology and her masters degree in Social Work from USC. She serves as a licensed social worker for the Palliative Care team providing psychosocial support to patients, families and caregivers who are facing issues associated with a life-limiting illness.
